O'Connor Plumbing & Heating

I am revising my review because I did not realize this. This was just brought to light by another plumber. They left our yard a mess. It is not graded like it should be. The dirt is just a mound and you sink in when you stand on it. They didn't level it or compact it like it should be.. Another plumber told us that the water can collect right against our house. They rushed to get the project done at the end. This new plumber said that they did that kind of work for 6 years and they never would have left the yard like that. When I called O'connor back to come fix it, the owner, Jason, kept saying he would stop by. He even agreed through text message based on the pictures I sent him that it was slanted towards the house. Then I get an email from Jason, the owner, saying that as per the contract they don't do anything with settlement after the work is completed. They never graded it as per the contract. They were dishonest. Also, supposedly they hydrojetted our pipe. The new plumber said it did not look like it! I would look elsewhere for a plumber.

It was good. I would call them back. The guy that came Kevin, was very knowledgeable.

I had O'Connor plumbing come yesterday on an emergency basis. My water heater finally bit the big one and was leaking. I called and I was immediately received a call from George. We went over everything over the phone so there would be no misunderstanding. He then called me back with an estimate. He was at the house within an hour. He was professional, neat, and thorough in explaining the process and the price. The price was appropriate, especially since it was an emergency and on a holiday weekend. The price was definitely fair. I would definitely recommend George and O'Connor Plumbing and Heating. Pam C.

They came in and cleared it then once again it came back, and a few weeks later they came again and this time cleared it, and it has been clog free now for over three months. They also diagnosed the possible long term problems involved, gave suggestions to keep it running clog free going forward and seem to have helped us solve a problem that had been ongoing since we moved in almost a decade ago.

Work was not completed on time. They often did not come when they said they would. I asked them not to drill through a load-bearing stud and when I came home they had made a 6" hole in that stud. They tried to have me pay $500 for a $100 toilet.

Very quick response (same or next day), and very fast professional work. They do both commercial and residential work. I used them for residential and would definitely hire them again. They were recommended by the condo office. Fair (not low) pricing, although they do not have an hourly rate - they quote a flat price once they have seen the job. I would prefer an hourly rate. They hauled the old toilets away at no extra charge. The work in this review was 3 separate jobs at different times in late 2017, early 2018.

Did the job the day contacted. Team was prompt, professional, efficient and cost was as quoted and reasonable for the service performed. Would not hesitate to use again.

We had a plumbing emergency in that we discovered our main line was backed up on a Friday night. O'Connor Plumbing was very responsive and had Jeff come out within a couple of hours. Jeff was very knowledgeable and courteous and I appreciated he did everything he could to keep the price down, but after hours plumbing emergencies are expensive. I had called another plumbing company and O'Connor's prices seemed comparable for emergency work.

Our garbage disposal was almost 15 years old and began leaking one morning last week. I called O'Connor and Evelyn was able to have Fred out at my house later that afternoon ready to install a new disposal. Fred showed up on time and was very thorough with the work. Found that not only was the disposal in need of replacement, but the drains were almost fully clogged with grease and debris. He cleared everything out at no additional charge and also found that our existing faucet also had a small drip at times under the sink we weren't aware of. He was able to come back a few days later to install a new faucet that we picked up from Home Depot and everything is working great. Can't say enough about the quality work Fred and O'Connor provided. Will definitely call them again when the need arises.

Service was excellent. From Evelyn who took the call and set my appointment for same day to Derrick Brewster who was my residential drain specialist and not only was he punctual but sat down with me and discussed in detail what he found, broke down the costs and went into detail how he fixed the problem and what I will need to do in the future. I recommend Derrick and the O'connor team.

It went well. I would definitely hire O'Connor Plumbing again and specifically Jeff and Clyde. They were very professional and definitely know what they are doing. I felt comfortable with them think they did a quality job.

Great service all around. Everything was explained in detail, very forthcoming with the information and pricing, no sales gimmicks and no pressure. Will definitely use this service again if needed.

Well. They have advanced equipment and were able to go into the pipe over 100 feet to get rid of block. Their equipment had video attached and they were able to assess the situation and show me the problem and solution.

Excellent experience with O'Connor Plumbing. The technician was very prompt, explained everything and made the installation perfectly and quickly. The only minor issue was that he had not been made aware that I had already paid for the disposal and service call through Angie's list, and was expected to receive payment. However, I showed him my documentation of payment and he recorded everything to take back to his company - a good response on his part, and not his fault. Sounds like faulty communication between either Angie's List and the company, or the company and their technician. But, again, the technician handled the situation professionally and was clearly concerned that I was happy. Can't ask for better than that.

It was a Saturday ; I called O'Conner Plumbing and they were able to have someone come within two hours. The tech found and fixed the the pipe very competently. I was extremely pleased with the experience from start to finish.

I cannot say enough positive things about O'Connor Plumbing. We had an Easter Sunday evening emergency and after an initial phone call, we were contacted very quickly with an estimated arrival time of two plumbers. This was followed up with text messages as well. The plumbers were extremely professional and responsive to our emergency, and they were also very nice and friendly despite being taken away from their families on a holiday for a few hours. Excellent crew, excellent work. Would highly recommend to anyone. Because this was an emergency call, the price was $250/hr but we got a nice discount for using Angie's List.

One person came out to complete the service. It took him about an hour to complete.
